your internet security settings prevented one or more files from being opened

Appears either when I download something, or when I try and open something. Its been happening a while now and I'm fed up of it! I'm trying to open a game i downloaded offline, its completely legal and it has worked in the past and that message just pops up!

How can i stop this happening?

PLEASE don't use computer language and word it so i can actually understand.

Also which browser are you using, Internet Explorer has protected mode. Firefox has safe mode. These will stop various types of files downloading and you need to change the security settings, without knowing which browser and version you are using I can't help any more

get carry of Lavasoft Adaware SE it is unfastened and upload AVG Antispyware that's a unfastened trial for a month of finished version. Get the unfastened scanner Bit Defender and test the computor, you are able to Google to it and if Nortons do no longer care take it out and put in AVG you would be happy you probably did. good success.
