Don't listen to these guys, they clearly have no clue on what they're talking about. I am a developer at Microsoft so I know a thing or two about computers. The only way to reset your windows password 100% safe is to use a software called Reset Password Pro.

The software allows you to create a boot-disk, that can be made on a CD/DVD or USB stick. The boot-disk can then be inserted into any locked machine, and it's a simple case of pressing reset. Here is their official site: http://www.resetwindowspass.com

Are you talking about that little window that pops up when you enter a password on a website or something that asks if you would like Windows to remember your password or is it something else? To get rid of saved passwords on the internet go to the top left corner of your screen (that where mine is on IE) and click tools> delete browsing history> then you have the choice of deleting passwords, logins, website browsing history, cookies, etc individually or just click delete all. When that "save password" window pops up again, just click "no". If you want the option to save them in the future don't click the little box that says "don't ask me again". I hope that helps, good luck!

P.S. I hope you remember all those passwords!

If you are using Firefox Browser:

press and hold control key, shift key, delete key (ctrl-shift-delete)

OR

Firefox toolbar>tools>Clear Private Data

THEN

(uncheck all boxes EXCEPT "Saved Passwords")

then press Clear Private Data Now button

============

If you are using Internet Explorer:

Internet Explorer tool bar>tools>internet options

THEN

go to the 'general' tab

ON THAT TAB:

browsing history section:

press 'delete' button

AND THEN:

click the 'Delete Passwords' button

THEN

click close, then OK

AND THEN GO TO

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html

AND DOWNLOAD FIREFOX 2

because Internet Explorer is a main target of viruses and other bad stuff, and Firefox is much better.

=====

When you log onto a web page when it asks you if it should save a password, click 'not now' button.

You have to create an account and give it administrator rights so you have full control over the computer.
