why I cannot delete the strange emails from the inbox?

I can delete emails only when I open them and it is very dangerous because a lot of emails are from unknown resources.
This happened from yesterday. Before that I can delete all unknown emails from inbox by click on them, but now I cannot do that.

create filters. In yahoo mail go to options > mail options > Filters

Click on Add button to set a filter.

Give a name to your filter.

You can create filters for the subject text that you receive often. For example if you are receiving mail having viagra in the subject line. Then Add viagra in the text box in front of

Text-contains- type viagra here

Leave the match case unchecked.

There are also filter options for checking words in header, body, of mail.After that decide where the mail will go.

In your case select the folder named trash as below.

Then-Move The message To-select trash from the list.

Press Add Filter button when done.

You can set as many as 15 filters in yahoo mail.

i'm nevertheless having issues. What the **** is incorrect with yahoo. It keeps loading whilst i'm attempting to retrieve messages to than errors comparable with deleting it keeps loading. i'm dropping my endurance with yahoo.

We must know your email program (outlook, eudora, outlook expres....?) and we must know the way you connect to the inbox (POP3, IMAP or direct by web interface...?)

In anyway you connect, the mail server save your inbox to avoid misstakes. If you have two sessions access to the inbox in same time the server will lock one of the sessions.



For example: If you leave outlook open at home and it checks the inbox every 10 min'

and at work you open the mail session in same time while outlook at home is working you will find problem like in your question.



Be sure that you didn't left an unclosed session in the past. In case of bad exit like electric break, maybe you need ask the ISP to close the old session.

If the size of your email folders bigger then 300Mb it cause strage problem in data-base key ie the index of the inbox.

Move them to trash are you sure you are not letting people see your emails...empty trash and you sould be good to go if it happens again i donno really
