Files are not 'gone'; just encrypted via an ultra-robust method.
You could try one of "Rich"s suggestions.
Windows users have been enduring this 'ransom-ware' for some time now, and it just keeps getting more sophisticated.
After you decide whatever you're going to do about it**, I recommend you commence a 'data backup' plan at your earliest convenience...or start using Linux on the 'Net.
Then you don't have to deal with these file loss problems.
**Don't bother with paying the ransom. There's no guarantee they will provide decryption if you do.

using cryptowall 2.0. It says that the data within the files has been irrevocably changed. And that I will not be able to see or work with my files. It says that my files were encryptede with the public key and that decrypting my files is only possible with the private key with is only available on the hackers secret server. I know what none of this means. What shoud I do?

Alex is not correct... there is a place that will generate a decryption key for free, read here
