Ok, do EXACTLY what i say if u want ur trojan horse gone:

First, u need to know that a Trojan is not a virus. It is simply malware that makes you become susceptible to viruses. If this makes it easier, u can think of the function of a Trojan as what HIV does to your immune system. Next, you need to identify the Trojan. If your computer has a trojan horse, it should oftenly send you an error message that a process was interrupted or malfunctioning. This is called a DLL error, which is linked to a specific trojan horse. copy and paste the DLL error into this website: www.processlibrary.com and it will give you the info on whether it is a trojan horse or not. If it's a trojan, then it will come in the name of a exe file.

Then, u need to display hidden files. To do this, follow these instructions:

In XP

1. Close all programs

2. Click on the My Computer icon.

3. Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.

4. Select the View tab in the new window.

5. Check Display the contents of system folders.

6. Under the Hidden files and folders, select Show hidden files and folders.

7. Uncheck Hide file extensions for known file types and Hide protected operating system files.

8. Click Apply button and Restart

In Vista

1. Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.

2. Click Start button.

3. Click Control Panel.

4. In the control panel, Click on the Appearance and Personalization.

5. Click on Show Hidden Files or Folders.

6. Under the Hidden files and folders section select Show hidden files and folders.

7. Uncheck Hide extensions for known file types and Hide protected operating system files.

8. Click Apply button and restart.

Ok, now u need to stop the trojan's processes:

1. Load ur computer into safe mode

2. open task manager by pressing ctrl+alt+delete

3. click the trojan process

4. click end process

Now, u need to edit the registry so the trojan won't install itself back onto ur computer

1. Click Start

2. Click Run

3. Type regedit

4. Find this registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/

SOFTWARE/

Microsoft/

Windows/

CurrentVersion/

RUN/

5. Delete all exe and dlls associated with the trojan names

6. Delete the value.

Last step is to check ur startups:

1. Open your Start menu.

2. Click Run

3. In the command screen type "msconfig.exe"

4. In the "system configuration utility",click "startup" tab

5. Uncheck any process that is associate with the trojan.

6. Click "OK"

7. Restart

Well I'll tell you what you can do for that ;)

In the order of most likely to work perfectly:

1. Buy a month of Kaspersky (5.02$) at your local software store such as Best Buy etc. Or buy a subscription online for a year, you'll be protected garenteed.

2. Try out some free software and see if they kick it off.

Use the power of Google to check these out:

AVG Free

Avast Free

AVG Spyware Free

There you go, if you need any more help tell me more about the virus :)

Time to do a thorough cleaning, because your PC might have more malware on it than you think it does. Turn off anti virus and

download ComboFix to desktop. Run ComboFix and don't interupt it while it's running and it's finished when you see the white print out page instead of the blue window. After it's done delete the ComboFix exe from desktop and download, update, run SuperAntiSpyware and A-squared. Next download, run cclener and use the reg-cleaner in ccleaner. Turn on anti virus and turn off System Restore and turn it ack on...

No need to reformat because of a Trojan ... if you can identify it ... you can remove it manually .... or try one of the free anti-spyware type programs http://www.safer-networking.org/en/home/index.html download anf run this program ... and try http://free.avg.com
