Is the password encryption feature for documents in Microsoft Word 2010 really secure? Should I just delete the document from my laptop and keep a hard copy hidden?

It is secure for the most part, but its always better to keep a hard copy hidden.

Most people wouldn't know what to do with a encrypted file so it's secure. Hidden can always be found.

you have in basic terms chanced on how stable a word password is. Even the paid application does not assure that it will eliminate it. living house windows passwords would properly be bumped off very unquestionably yet word passwords are perpetually. wanting paying massive greenbacks, the document is lost. Sorry.
