hm....based on people believes windows 7 is more secure than XP, however, if you ask any windows expert or test penetrators, windows 7 is not secure, Microsoft was never i repeat never worried about security.

just look at cvedetails and see how many vulnarabilities windows 7 has.

The reason Windows 7 is more secure is because of it's updates, Windows XP was founded in 2003 which may be why it is unsecure, all you will need is a better browser than Internet Explorer and a good anti virus software and it will be safe

Windows XP however is faster than Windows 7 because it's 3GB in size when Windows 7 is up to 5-15GB and Windows XP uses 300MB Ram, when Windows 7 uses 700MB

Linux and Mac OS are very secure compared to Windows.

User Account Control (UAC) makes Windows Vista/7 more secure than XP because it notifies and ask the user for permission to change system setting; however, UAC doesn't not protect against user stupidity.

Windows Defender, which is installed on Vista and Windows 7 by default, also helps prevent and remove spyware, although it's not perfect but it is still an extra layer of protection that XP did not come with.
