I just had one of those spyware programs install itself on my laptop, now its telling me my computer is infected. It wont let me access any programs just shows me a warning that i am at risk. How do i get rid of this. I went through each process running and checked it with processlibrary.com and the only one that says is a risk is csrss.exe, but i cannot uninstall this. I see in the control panel some software informer programs and i don't know if these are associated with my problem. Any help would be great!

Hi.

Most Computer infections can be taken care of without drastic actions.

The first thing I recommend you do is:

1. Download Malwarebytes (http://malwarebytes.org)

2. Run FULL scan. Delete any found objects and Reboot pc.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you cannot do that and have not yet attempted System Restore, I would do that now.
The best way to do this with an infected pc is in Safe Mode. Press F8 when you see your splash screen when you first turn on your computer. Then once booted up…
In vista &7 = type System Restore in start menu. Chose a restore point before the known issue arise.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

If all else fails, you may have to reinstall windows. This is For Sure going to fix the problem if it was only a virus.

Make sure you have everything you need before you attempt this.

★Original Windows Installation Disc.

★About an hour or 2.

★All original Drivers for all your devices. *usually comes on a disc with your computer.

☆☆IMPORTANT! Back up all files! They will be lost!!!

For tutorials on how to do this use these links.

☆ VISTA & 7 = http://www.buildeasypc.com/sw/windows_vista/install_windows_vista.htm

I recommend you use NORTON 360 v4 to protect you. It is so light you will not know it’s there!

☆Remember, most security apps will not help an already infected computer!

Try this,download Malwarebytes Antimalware and HitmanPro. Transfer them to the to the infected pc. Next reboot the pc, before windows has loaded tap the f 8 key, from the advanced menu choose safe mode with networking

Hold down the left ctrl key, then execute the HMP file.Hopefully this will kill the malware. If you can access the net let HMP run a scan.Then install MBAM and run a quick scan..Reboot into normal mode

it did not install itself you triggered it. and if you want it to come back just restore it. you'll lose all your documents your music files well everything. or you can waste like 200 hundred dollars and call a trustworthy antivirus company and have them by controling your comp accesing all you files via internet in a way being hacked with your permission. good luck im sure you dont really rely on your files so just do a system restore either by using a reboot disk or your computer system
