I'm pretty certain it's spyware or a virus or something; when I click on a link, it takes me to a completely different URL than what I clicked on. I have to keep going back and clicking on actual page I want several times before it will take me to it.

I've run Malwarebytes and Spybot, but neither one of those is catching it.

What can I do?

Well use ablock plus :)

For Firefox

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/

For Chrome

https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cfhdojbkjhnklbpkdaibdccddilifddb?utm_source=chrome-ntp-icon

Just suggestion while you install any new software, simply just don't click next and next..!!

just see it once, coz half of spywares or adware acts from setup files :)

and upgrade the browser too !!

Hope that makes sense!!

with suggestion from the sounds of it you recognize somewhat about pcs, so wont insult you, yet antivirus does the artwork that maximum technicians do in case you position in some thing like NOD 32 or maybe microsoft safe practices centre then your already 0.5 way there. If in some unspecified time sooner or later you get some thing that those techniques cant remove and flow to a save all they do is precisely what you ought to do, the run a experiment, see if it identifies the issue and if it does they are going to seek for a guide thanks to remove the issue. besides the indisputable fact that, 9 out of 10 situations if the antivirus cant remove the issue the fastest thanks to fix it truly is to fix your pc. My options is consequently this, at the initiating get a good up for this reason far antivirus, then upon getting this put in and are satisfied that the pc works, take an photo, there are some free application available to attempt this all it does is makes a replica of your hard disk drive because it truly is at the same time as operating ( so that you'll desire yet another force exterior ones are tremendous ) and also you save it. then you definately make sure that you backup some thing you save that you ought to be doing besides and in case you get a situation in basic terms fix your pc with the photo (take an photo once a month or every time you're making a huge substitute). What i commonly do is have the living house windows on one force and characteristic a separate 2d force for the options. the technique of restoring your gadget takes minutes extremely than an deploy which takes hours. it truly is how tremendous agencies artwork, they setup one gadget deploy each thing so as that it fairly works, factor all archives storage to a unique force and take an photo, then they installation gadget after gadget employing that photo report, it takes about 10 minutes to position in a sparkling gadget this kind. in addition they use this technique for complications, if a gadget seems undesirable in besides, because the options is elsewhere they in basic terms stroll as a lot because it shove interior the fix disc and boost 10 minutes later its decrease back the way it replaced into at the same time as it went in. its effective and expenses little.

I knew someone with this... I installed Malwarebytes and Spybot Search and Destroy and neither of them helped. I lost contact with them, but last I heard they didn't find a resolution. Keep searching on the web for a solution, but you may have to take it to a computer shop to have them look at it.

Good luck.
