I just reset my password. It only let me put in ********.. Now when I try to login with ********, it says I have the wrong password.
What should I do? Do you think that this is a problem with Windows? Would linux fix?

So you used a series of asterisk character's as your new password? Did you use the same number of characters as the first time?
Or did you put in a different password? Windows (& most other programs) use asterisks as a security precaution to protect your password's integrity in case someone is looking over your shoulder at what you are typing in.
Linux in all it's varied flavors beats the pants off any MS operating system. Most flavors also are really user friendly and have programs and applications that either work with or are similar to ones used on MS. Not to mention cheaper and more stable than any product put out by MS. Though, if you screw up your passwords in Linux, it's nowhere nearly as easy to recover them as in Windows.

First of all, linux will not fix this. Chances are you might have typed your password wrong when you first entered it. Or you had your CAPS on or something. When resetting your password, always type real slow, like tick typing. If you still can't get in, call customer service to find a way to reset it for you.

I'm not sure what password you are referring to.
Is numlock or caplock on? That can effect passwords. Most sites have a thing where you can have your password e-mailed to you.

you shouldn't be giving clues of your passwords here, there is a weird clon of you out there, lol... but I still thinking that it is a creation by yourself.
