Question:
How do I disable ads on Android games?

I love to play Android games from Playstore and what annoys me most of the time is the ads. They just keep popping up after each loading screen now and then. Almost all of Android games that I've played shows this similar behaviour. I was wondering if it is possible to disable those ads from settings within the phone. I've tried lots of methods such as using Proxy/VPN and even the adblocker but it seems that it does not give me the desired result(s). Am I doing anything wrong here? Or maybe am I missing something?

For blocking the ads you can use ad blocker or you can turn off data connection while you play this game for android

You'll need root access. The easiest way is to tell at your phone saying "CHEESEBURGER ARE IS GOOD"

Not really. You shouldn't disable ads on apps though. It supports developers so they can make more stuff and update the app.

If the game you're playing doesn't need wifi, put your device in airplane mode. Can't advertise without internet

There used to be an ad blocker in the play store that slipped through the process as google does not allow any apps that block ads to be in the play store.

It's called "Blockthis".

Unfortunately I think I'm the one responsible for having it removed after discovering it one day by fluke and then writing a review telling everyone to get it before Google figured out it blocks everything even better than Adblock Plus. Three hours later it was removed forever. You can still get the app directly from the developer and it's ad free and open sourced last time I looked.

https://block-this.com/

I emailed the developer one day but didn't say it was my fault it got canned

I am afraid you cannot get rid of the ads without like an ad blocker but as far as i know there is not an ad blocker for android, but if the app you like going on doesn't need wifi turn off the wifi and the ads will go away cause they need wifi.

How many games have you actually PAID for? SOMEONE has to pay the developers to write the games you play. If you are not paying (not paying enough) then the developers get paid by adverts.

Why don't you try ad block apps, I recommend Adblock Plus. Though Google has removed ad-bocker apps from play store, you can search APK file for such ad-blockers from the google search box and after installation you will be guided for further actions.

Ads come with the advantages of staying connected, but you can disconnect data connections to just turn off ads. Basically there's no free lunch.

Try turning on aeroplane mode. This works for some apps, but others will keep showing ads, because they are built into the app.

The reason that many mobile games are free is specifically because of advertising. That and micro-transactions. It's just part of the deal. The reason the developers of a game is able to give it to you for free is because they sell advertising space within the game itself. It's the same exact reason that websites like Yahoo or Google are free to everyone. It's because they sell advertising space rather than charging you (the user) a fee to use their service.

That being said, many free mobile games do offer to the ability to pay for the removal of ads. Basically you pay a one time fee, and the game removes any advertising from then on. If the games does allow this, it will be listed with any additional transactions associated with the game.

Outside of that no, there is no way to remove advertising from mobile games. The advertising is built into the software itself and there is simply no way around it. Remember it's this advertising that allows the free games you play to remain free (at least games that do not have micro-transactions anyway). If developers stopped selling ad space in their games, then no more free games would exist.
