unblocking of a site using https ? plz must reply?

hello friends,
you may know youtube is blocked in pakistan but one can use millions of ways to unblock it.
all these ways aside but when i used https protocol it became accessible and now i am confused what this https protocol is?how it can unblock sites ?,, i have check this from different ISP's and it worked but videos give error as "an error occured please try again latter"..

The s at the end just means "secure" you'll notice this on all log in pages of forums. ebay .paypal banks etc. Basically it a secure socket layer.Check out this link if your more intrigued.
