I am getting a message with internet explorer:

"Stop running this script? A script on this page is causing your web browser to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive." And then are options Yes/No. I keep clicking yes and then everything is running fine, and then it pops up again. I have run my Norton antivirus scan and it didn't change anything.

Anyone know how to get this to stop recurring?

The easiest fix is to stop using Internet Explorer. IE is slow and buggy because Microsoft put all of their effort into developing Windows 8. All the virus scanners in the world are not going to fix a poorly developed piece of software like Internet Explorer.

this is likely a pop-up this is designed to look like a gadget message. those are designed to do issues. a million) they appear like a gadget message as a fashion to get you to click on them and the two installation mal-ware on your gadget. 2) seize you to a different internet site to get you to purchase a product. be certain taht you have enabled your pop-up blocker. additionally, set your gadget up for inner maximum surfing so taht it deletes any temp archives that are created in case you're surfing. And maximum critically. never never never surf the internet on an account that has administrative rights!!

it could be just bad script.

more likely it is due to Add-ons

IE is run in one of two forms

with or without add-ons.

run it without add-ons.

alternatively add-ons can be disabled.

you can also alter the Advanced settings in TOOLS-INTERNET OPTIONS-ADVANCED

but they may not help this issue as its microsofts

new checks to make sure bad code doesnt disappear off and lock the pc in a loop
