I'm going on a SAFE SITE. Yesterday it worked! But today it didn't.
This is what it looks like:

You are not authorized to view this page
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Please try the following:

Contact the Web site administrator if you believe you should be able to view this directory or page.
Click the Refresh button to try again with different credentials.
HTTP Error 401.1 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to invalid credentials.
Internet Information Services (IIS)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Technical Information (for support personnel)

Go to Microsoft Product Support Services and perform a title search for the words HTTP and 401.
Open IIS Help, which is accessible in IIS Manager (inetmgr), and search for topics titled Authentication, Access Control, and About Custom Error Messages.

What should I do? I already tried Going in the Internet options and stuff.
Help?!

It may not be your browser settings or your security settings. It may be possible that the owner of the site has blocked you or has changed the parameters of their site to make it private, or password protected.

You could try lowering your security settings (not recommended), or go to your approved web site listing and add that particular URL to the list.

You are trying to access a page or a directory on a server that doesn't exist, or that requires a sign in to use.

It is a server problem, or you have not signed into the server with an approved account, or you have the address wrong.

There is nothing you can do about that other than double checking that the page address is 100% correct.

I would go ahead and follow those instructions and see what happens. I really don't know why but this has happened to me a few times as well. If you are doing from work then they (company) may have restriciotns so that you cannot view certain sites.

This error is an authentication error.

Check the username and password that you type in,

Check for caps lock on or off

do not allow Windows to autofill the username and pass. you type in manually and see it it working.

If not contact the webadministrator, he should have denied access to ur username..

hope this helps !
