Your computer has been hacked into by a hacker, & is he using your email account to send out those Spam emails, your computer is now known as a Zombie computer

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zombie_computer

These are next to impossible to clean up, & you really shouldn't waste your time doing it, because in the end, you will end up just reinstalling your system.

So cut to the chase, & just reinstall your operating system from the beginning

Download and install a legitimate anti-spyware software. Choose from malwarebytes antimalware or superantispyware. Download links http://www.pcrisk.com/top-spyware-removers Both are free and does a great job at detecting and removing spyware. Download, install and update before running a full system scan. You may also want to enter safe mode before running a scan. Click Start, click Shut down, click Restart, click Ok. During your computer starting process press F8 key on your keyboard multiple times until you see Windows Advanced Option menu, then select Safe mode from the list. Then run a scan. If these programs fail to detect all infections you could try Hitman Pro. Sometimes it is able to detect infections that other scanners misses.

After this procedure change your email password.

I had one like that years ago. I remember the quick fix was to add a contact that is non-existant and will be first on the list like AAAAA@unknown.com. Apparently if it can't send the first one it will stop there. But again that was years ago. Try a new email account and see if it happens with that one too. Of course, you can try spybot or any of the other free tools available online.

First off I agree with the posters above. But before you reformat the computer

you may want to try using an antivirus(free) that you can boot up via cd-rom and scan that way.

It tends to be more effective at finding things that dont want to be found while you are in Windows itself performing a scan.

here is a link for the tool I use, its the AVG Rescue CD

This tool has worked wonders for me in the past.

Best of luck

It's a worm, it's on your computer, not just your email account. That means if you change it, and nothing else, it can access it again.

Download this:

http://www.superantispyware.com/

Delete whatever it tells you.

And then change.

Have a safe and merry Christmas.
