can anybody tell me what kind of problem i might have? my hp started acting strange over the past week after an incident when it made a wierd crackling sound then
my touchpad mouse would not let me use the scroll feature anymore.. i went to mouse settings to try to turn it back on but it would not let me check the box for scroll the next day i
installed an update and it restarted while update was still installing... when the pc came back on the screen was black and said BOOTMGR FAILURE and would not let me do
anything but restart.. so i chose f8 option and backed up my files, then rite after that the pc started working again and my mouse works fine too!? what could be happening? usually the only way to fix the bootmgr screen is to put in system restore disc, so that was very strange...

i know i have some type of virus but i dont know what to do. microsoft security essentials quarrentined 2 trojan type viruses & one other called: Adware:Win32/Opencandy ... file location (C:)\user\users\AppData\roming\ i just need some ideas... or a solve, please anything,

also i found a file that was created on the same day..WGSDGSDGDSGSD.EXE the file location is (C:)/users/user/WGSDGSDGDSGSD.EXE 'and under properties, details,
the leagal trademark description says, MCI App is a trademark of fake company. could this be the problem? if so how do i remove it? Microsoft Security Essentials doesnt detect it though.. iv searched every site i could find for help but no relief..

Hey man it sounds like you have a RAT (Remote access tool) Which is a hacking tool which allows a hacker to remotely control your pc (view your webcam, see what you are doing on your pc and even steal information) the only way to fix this would be to delete that file. If it does not let you delete that file you will have to boot into safe mode (will need your laptop model if you have one) usually you will have to tap f8 as windows is starting up it will give you a list use the arrow keys to select safe mode. Once in safe mode delete that file and do a virus scan. Once the scan is done reboot. Your pc should now be fine.

The best thing to do would be to format your hard drive and reinstall windows but that will result in you losing all your stuff.

Hope this helped contact me if you need more help

noticeably a lot what Daniel suggested. because the Bootmgr is lacking, it ought to't stumble on your OS. maximum laptops have a partition distributed to them to fix it again to the production facility settings. Google the kind of your computer and it really is going to allow you to recognize what key to hit (usually F10), then fix it. which will write over the partition it really is flashing the message and presto computer is again to widespread.

Somebody's trying to hack you. Maybe not.

Try taking it to a computer help place.
