Warnings and errors are normal in event viewer.  If you've had one of those cold callers from "Windows Support" or whatever they're calling themselves tell you that it's a problem, don't believe them -- they're just trying to scam you.

You don't need to do anything about these warnings unless there is a specific problem you're having with the computer.  If there is a specific problem, then post it here and someone will help you sort it out.  Don't bother with event viewer, though -- it doesn't do anything that is of any use to anyone but a professional computer technician.

Oh, and cold callers who offer to fix your computer are scammers in 100% of cases.

Every computer with Windows will show errors and warnings in the event logs. Many are meaningless and nothing to be concerned about. Those logs are more for helping diagnose a problem when you know have a problem...you would then look for logs related to the problem to see if they could shed some light on the problem.

If you really want to know what those warnings and errors are referring to then you have to read the logs and start googling. Anyway, DO NOT FREAK OUT about errors in the event logs. Clear the logs and don't worry about it unless there is a specific problem with your computer and you want to see if you can find info related to it in the logs.

first and for most...

uninstall app/programs that you do not currently use.

you can reinstall later if needed.

via control panel

start button >> all programs >> accessories >> system tools >> disk clean up

start button >> all programs >> accessories >> system tools >> disk defragmentor

best place to start for anyone.

else reinstall MS Windows and do not install anything you do NOT need.

Official quote from Microsoft MSDN;

"Some products such as registry cleaning utilities suggest that the registry needs regular maintenance or cleaning. However, serious issues can occur when you modify the registry incorrectly using these types of utilities. These issues might require users to reinstall the operating system due to instability. Microsoft cannot guarantee that these problems can be solved without a reinstallation of the Operating System as the extent of the changes made by registry cleaning utilities varies from application to application."

Those are text files...and so minuscule it is not worth the effort.

What's causing your grief in particular; running out of 'free space', or other general performance issue?
