so i was going through websites doing my hw and i clicked this link. it then said "you have malware
" or w/e and then IE opened up a page that looks like "my computer" it had the disk C disk D and my documents and all that and it was doing a "scan". whatever you click on the website it opens up a downloading "anti virus" thingy. Is this a real virus scan made by the computer, or is this just a fake website that people make to try to get you to download the pogram. do i really ahve the viruses stated there? here is the link

THIS IS NOT REAL!! IT'S A VIRUS! Do not download anything! Immediately reboot your computer then run a FULL system-scan with your anti-virus software. If that doesn't work, try a system restore. The last resort would be to take it into a computer tech store.

If this happens again - a strange program begins scanning without your permission - Restart your computer immediately, before the "scan" finishes

It is quite possible that your system has been infected.

To be sure, I think you should employ the services of a trustworthy and fully legitimate antispyware application.

Check out Spyhunter here:

If you system is in fact loaded with dubious applications and infections, you will be provided with instructions on how to rid your PC of these unwanted programs.
