Virus Protector PRO?

Question

Does any one know how you can remove virus protector pro, which I have in my tray and keeps popping up but can not find it. It is so annoying as it is f;ashing all the time in the system tray. Thanks

I think i am right in believing that you have a virus or some sort of spyware, trojan etc. To remove it first of all check the Add/Remove programmes and if it is there then remove it. Sometimes not all programmes are in the Add/Remove and if that is so with your programme then you can remove it via the Registry. Press Start then clicl onto the RUN box . Next type in regedit and press OK. Ypou will see a new Window. Press EDIT and again you will see a new Window. Press FIND and type in the name of the file/programme. Press FIND NEXT. When the file/programme is found press Delete. You will be asked if you want to Delete the KEY and the SUBKEYS. Press YES and SINGLE RIGHT CLICK to Delete. Restart your computer.
