I can t seem to get rid of this stupid Max Adblock. It just keeps popping up every once and a while when I go to a website. I used Malwarebytes and it can t find it or remove it. I saw there was some "Max Adblock Removal" software, but it seems a bit dodgy to me. It s not in my chrome extensions and I don t know where it is in my files. Has anyone had problems with this shite before?

Uploading videos containing copyrighted material (video or audio) is illegal in the first place if the uploader doesn't have express permission from the material's owner. Therefore, downloading it too, regardless if you only want the video or the audio, will be illegal as you are part of it. Think of this scenario. A burglar broke into a house and stored the bag containing the loot somewhere else. If you found the bag and took it, won't you be party to the crime as well? Of course yes. Now the reason not too many people are arrested downloading illegal stuff is because chances of getting caught is small. It's like a lottery, a one in a million chance. However, this doesn't mean you should be risking yourself. It's your call.

you should be able to uninstall it the same way you do any program.

If you are having issues while trying to uninstall the Max AdBlock program,

you can use Revo Uninstaller to completely remove this unwanted program from your machine.

Revo Uninstaller > http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Is it listed in your list of installed programs in Control Panel > Programs and Features?

If it is, I recommend using IOBit Uninstaller to uninstall it.

You can try JRT (Junk Ware Removal Tool) From Thisisudax

Or

ADWCleaner.
