for all ur mac software go to the link below

in the file box on ur left look for macintosh-click on it

than it will send u to the mac page

back in the file box u will see a list --just look for what u need --this is a trusted site and all software is tested

and in 2008 apple had 252 security and bug fixes---so those who say apples OS is safe from virus's had better wake up and smell the roses

For Mac OS X there is a program called Little Snitch that acts as a firewall for your system, and it's free. Little Snitch informs you whenever a program attempts to establish an outgoing Internet connection. You can then choose to allow or deny this connection, or define a rule how to handle similar, future connection attempts. This reliably prevents private data from being sent out without your knowledge. Little Snitch runs inconspicuously in the background and it can also detect network related activity of viruses, trojans and other malware.

you don't need one- Macs are only a small percentage in the computer market compared to PC's. No person is going to want to create a virus for a Mac because of: 1) the small percentage of Mac computers 2) security is way different and harder to crack.
