This is not a problem at all. Here's what you need to do.

1st, don't waste your time with AVG, spybot, ad aware, CA, spyhunter, superantispyware, avast, panda, kaspersky, spyware blaster, spyware guard, windows defender or anything of the sort. Stay away from anything that is FREE when it comes to spyware and antivirus. There is a reason why they free. They are NOT good.

2nd, You need some of the best software out there. Norton Systemworks is very good. That's the only good software from Norton. I wouldn't recommend Norton Internet security, its not that great. Now the best software you should get is Spysweeper with Anti-virus, this software is too good and gets better everyday. This is Elite software. It blocks over 433,000 definition threats, which contain several fringerprints with each(you can do the math). No other software can compete with that or come close for that matter. It catches everything and has active shields. I've used them all and it is 2nd to none.

3rd, after you install and update the software, since its in your system you will have to turn off system restore and then go into safe mode and run the scan and eliminate the virus. then after removal, reboot and turn system restore back on.

4th, (Optional) I recommend a Firewall from Zone Alarm, their free version is so good. Or you can buy their Pro version, but the free version will do more than the job.

5th, any probs during or after you do all this, send me an e-mail or IM. I guarenDAMNtee my answers and will help you in person from IM if needed.

Newegg does not look working... it says that they are experiencing issues of the server. are you able to variety the specs and the fee? laptop will nevertheless have greater advantageous pictures. The specs of the "next gen" consoles are very undesirable(whilst in comparison with desktops). A PS4's specs are around a med-severe end gaming laptop. The PS4 will maximum probable be over $500 whilst it comes out. The PS3 40GB became around $500 whilst it got here out and since the PS4 would have greater advantageous hardware than the PS3, PS4 would be greater costly. you may build a gaming laptop for under $800 with greater advantageous specs than a PS4. The exclusives section is in basic terms own possibilities. the sole reason i could get a PS4 is to play the exclusives. @nimbus rain, The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 ti is obtainable for around $3 hundred. This pictures card is larger than the PS4's pictures card(a minimum of the only that is asserted that the PS4 would have). The pictures card is the main severe section in a gaming laptop(no longer saying the different areas are not important...) The pictures card of the PS4 won't have 8GB RAM. the 8GB is shared by the CPU and pictures card. the main recent pictures stressful video games do no longer even use 2GB VRAM of the pictures card at max settings. you would be actual with regard to the fee.

Go to www.avast.com. Download Avast Trial version from there. Get serial number from www.serials.ws. Apply serial number after installing, update the antivirus and schedule a boot-time scan. It will detect all the viruses. Then, delete all. Your computer will work normally. But, run a disk cleanup. Uninstall your antivirus. Go to Windows Folder and then to Offline Web Pages. Delete everything from there. Then, go to Downloaded Program Files and delete everything from there also. You can do all these for free, but it requires a littele time.

Go to following websites:

www.avast.com for Antivirus

www.serials.ws for the serial number.

Do and see how your computer will come back to normal.

But, close the websites when opened and then do not download anything.

Do as said.

Hi

I had the same problem a few weeks back and know exactly how you feel. Minus the annoying pop-ups, you wont have any problems, but it will surely slow down your system greatly and won't let you do anything else.

DO NOT download any of the things that the pop-ups tell you to. Just keep on closing the pop ups till you get rid of the menance.

A 100% solution to this problem is report this at the "Malware Removal" section of http://forums.spywareinfo.com and wait till the volunteers help you out. These great guys do it for free and during their spare time, so it could take you 7 days of listening to them for instructions. Also you need to register yourself there and read and adhere to the forum guidelines. I'll give you a short step by step guide to try and shorten your work to a few hours. Please follow it, even though it sounds like a chore. Each scan will take anything between few minutes to 2-3 hours depending on how much data you have.

First

Run Bitdefender Online Scan

http://www.bitdefender.com/scan8/ie.html

If this doesnt solve your problem, then run these two scans

Download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri) to your Desktop.

http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip

Extract all the files to your Destop. A folder named SmitfraudFix will be created on your Desktop.

Next, please reboot your computer into Safe Mode by doing the following:

1. Restart your computer

2. After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.

3. Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear

4. Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode.

5. When you are at the logon prompt, log in as the same user that you had performed the previous steps as.

When your computer has started in safe mode, and you see the desktop, close all open Windows.

Now, double-click on the SmitFraudfix icon that should be residing on your desktop.

When the tool first starts you will see a credits screen. Simply press any key on your keyboard to get to the next screen.

You will now see a menu as shown in the image below. Press the number 2 on your keyboard and the press the enter key to choose the option Clean (safe mode recommended).

The program will start cleaning your computer and go through a series of cleanup processes. When it is done, it will automatically start the Disk Cleanup program

This program will remove all Temp, Temporary Internet Files, and other files that may be leftover files from this infection. This process can take up to a few hours depending on your computer, so please be patient. When it is complete, it will close automatically and you will should continue with step 11.

When Disk Cleanup is finished, you will be presented with an option asking Do you want to clean the registry ? (y/n). At this screen you should press the Y button on your keyboard and then press the enter key.

When this last routine is finished, you will be presented with a red screen stating Computer will reboot now. Close all applications. You should now press the spacebar on your computer. A counter will appear stating that the computer will reboot in 15 seconds. Do not cancel this countdown and allow your computer to reboot.

Once the computer has rebooted, you will be presented with a Notepad screen containing a log of all the files removed from your computer. Please post that log here.

Next:

1. Download this file - ComboFix

2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.

3. When finished, it will produce a log for you. Save it.

Note:

Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Next:

1. Download ComboFix http://www.techsupportforum.com/sectools/sUBs/ComboFix.exe

2. Double click combofix.exe & follow the prompts.

3. When finished, it will produce a log for you. Save it.

If all this doesn't solve your problem, then you'll have to go to the volunteer site I mentioned and give them your logs to study. But that is a long process. So give this a shot first.

And in future, be very very careful before running ActiveX controls from any site. Please read http://forums.spywareinfo.com/index.php?showtopic=103455&st=0&p=566076&#entry566076 once you are back on track to know how you can protect yourself in future.

Format your pc.Download & install Nod32.

http://www.eset.com/download/registered_software.php

It works fine, even i have it installed.Even i went through the same problem & my pc went down because of virus.Even though computer worked fine,i thought with antivirus & antispyware installed the problem should go but it worsened so i had to format my pc.This does not mean that antivirus & antispyware is of no use,it does work fine. All i can say is download an antivirus, update it & run it.If things go wrong dont delay, immediately call your engineer who repairs your pc.If you delay your problem will only worsen.

That could be trying to sell you a securepccleaner.

Change your passwords and don't use Windows Messenger for now until you can get things cleaned up.

Use the Pop-Up Blocker on Yahoo Tool Bar.

http://toolbar.yahoo.com/

Also, turn on the Windows Firewall

http://windows.about.com/od/security/ss/enable_firewall_5.htm

Remove all other anti virus programs from your computer with Add/Remove from START and Control Panel. Click the link below and install AVG Free anti virus software. Have used it for years and it is really good.

http://www.download.com/AVG-Anti-Virus-Free-Edition/3000-2239_4-10320142.html

You can not have two anti virus programs on your computer at the same time because they will really mess things up.

Also, on a regular basis click Tools then Internet Options and remove temp. Internet Files and Cookies then run Yahoo Tool Bar Anti-Spy.

I have written this 'catch-all' response in order to quickly and effectivly help you and others remove and disinfect your way to a trouble-free pc. I can also be reached via Yahoo! email should you need more help than I can give in this short space. Lastly, it is wise to print out these instructions in order to follow while offline.

Step 1) DON'T PANIC! Take a deep breath and go grab a cup of your favorite beverage. This may take awhile.

Step 2) Clean up your pc. Remove programs you don't use via the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. In Vista, you remove programs by clicking Programs and Features in the Control Panel. If you are unsure of a particular program, you can check it against a list of offenders here: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=79754

Clean your hard drive of unecessary files using CCleaner here: http://www.ccleaner.com/download/

Save to your desktop, install it, then run the cleaner. Simple, yet it will free up tons of space on your hard drive. While you have the program open, run the Registry Checker as well. This will fix invalid registry entries safely. Note that you should run CCleaner for ALL accounts on your pc.

Step 3) Create a new System Restore point. Click Start>All Programs> Accessories>System Tools>System Restore. Create a restore point. Now delete all but this most recent restore point. Click Start>All Programs>Accessories> System Tools>Disk Cleanup. Click More Options tab, and then under System Restore, click Clean up. Click Yes to remove all but the most recent restore point. Click OK, click Yes, and then click OK.

Step 4) Now let's start to get rid of those nasties. Download the following programs to your Desktop. You should then install each one, but don't run them yet. Patience...patience.

Lavasoft's Ad-Aware from here: http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/ad_aware_free.php

AVG Anti-Spyware from here:

http://www.ewido.net/en/download/

Spybot Search and Destroy from here:

http://www.safer-networking.org/en/download/index.html

SUPERAntiSpyware from here:

http://www.superantispyware.com/

I know this seems like overkill, but until someone can come up with one program that can detect everything in the wild, we need to use programs from several reputable sources.

Step 5) Use them safely. Once these programs are installed on your pc, their effectiveness may be negated by running scans normally. You need to reboot your pc into Safe Mode. Shut down your pc, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on. As your computer restarts but before Windows launches, press F8.

Use the arrow keys to highlight the Safe Mode with Networking option, which loads all of the above files and drivers and the essential services and drivers to start networking, and press Enter. If Windows launches before you can choose a safe mode, restart your computer and try again. Now it's time to start each program you installed and run scans. First, open Ad-Aware, update to the latest signatures, and run a full system scan. Delete any malware found, close the program and move on to AVG Anti-Spyware. Again, update, run complete scan, and delete the baddies. Do the same for Spybot and SuperAntiSpyware. When you are finished, restart the computer normally.

Step 6) Clean up and protect. I would reccommend leaving AVG and Ad-Aware on your system, and delete the other two. These anti-spyware programs do not conflict and offer good future protection. If you happen to like the interface of the others, then by all means keep the ones you want, just so long as you have at least one solid stand-alone on your system. Uninstall the others via Add/Remove in the Control Panel.

Step 7) Not done yet. We've taken care of the spyware, but there still may be viruses and trojans lurking on your pc. If there is an anti-virus program running on your pc, shut it down. Yes, you read right, end the program. We need to run a few online scans that may conflict with the anti-virus installed. Go to Trend Micro: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ to download and run their free online scanner. Take whatever action the scanner tells you for any virus found. Finally, do the same with the Panda Online ActiveScan : http://www.pandasoftware.com/products/ActiveScan.htm

Restart your computer.

Step 8) Peace at last. Make sure your anti-virus program of choice is running again and is up-to-date. If you do not have one, I suggest AVG Free Antivirus here: http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/ or Avast 4 Home:

http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-home.html

Be sure you have at least one of the anti-spyware programs running, and also make sure you have a good firewall. PC Tools Firewall Plus is free and works on XP and Vista: http://www.pctools.com/firewall/ , as does WinPatrol 2007:

http://www.winpatrol.com/download.html

This procedure will remove MOST malware. However, it may not catch some really nasty buggers. If you've followed all the steps and still believe you have something not right on your pc, you need some extra help. Go here: http://www.tomcoyote.org/hijackthis to download a program called HijackThis. It examines certain key areas of the Registry and Hard Drive and lists their contents. Install, run and save a logfile which you may post on one of the forums listed on that same page as above. Some kind soul will then come along and examine your logfile and give you reccommendations in order to wipe any remaining buggers away.

Please email me with comments, suggestions, and errors. If you like it, feel free to pass it on to other infected folks.
