Virus attacking me constantly computer geeks help!?

Ok, Im using norton internet security and i keep on getting notifications of a recent attept to attack your computer and its getting blocked but how can i prevent this!?!??!?! The virus is constantly hitting me somebody help? Will Reformating my computer work or will it still get attacked answer ASAP

First of all norton sucks. this could be a corrupt system file if you have recovery software on your pc you could try and reinstall only the windows system files, the problem with reformatting is if you backup every thing to an External hard drive be for, and then format and have a virus free clean install of windows when you transfer your files back to your pc you could be backing up and moving the virus to your clean install of Windows i suggest you remove norton try AVG http://free.avg.com/gb-en/homepage (its free)

if avg cant help you i would try another virus software if that fails then try restoring your computer to an early er date you can do this through the control panle if that fails then go for it and reformat with a windows disk
