Would downloading avast/MSE and other programs make your laptop slow?

Question

Its going to be a new laptop but yet i want to keep it away from viruses, im planning to download
- avast or microsoft secriuty essentials,
- Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
- Super Antispyware

make your laptop go slow?

MSE is a lighter utility but Avast will offer you the best protection....MSE does not have inbound/outbound e-mail scanner., nor will it offer protection if your p2p sharing files or on any IM system like yahoo messenger...stick with avast.....



and they will not slow your computer down....I have Avast, Malwarebytes, and Super anti-spyware on mine....



You might want to add this FREE utiliy like I have to keep the computer in tip top shape...free from registry and other errors....its the #1 product.....

They won't slow your computer (only a little at startup while the anti-virus program loads). Only have one anti-virus program that runs in real-time installed.
