if you sent someone a message on facebook and u block them, can they still see the message?

i sent someone a message on facebook, but i don't want him to be able to see the message anymore. if i block him, will he be able to see the message? if he can still see the message, how can i make it so that he can never see the message again?

Is it a private message up at the top or is it a comment in his update status? In the update status, you can just delete it and then block them from you.

But if it's a PM, even if you delete them or block them, they will still have the message.

It's the same as if you sent a message to someone who wasn't even in your profile of friends. They would still get the message and you can't take it back.

And, further, even if you delete them as a friend and block them, they can create a new FB account and easily find you.



The only way to totally block them from finding you at all on FB is if you set your profile to totally private and don't post comments in anyone's threads or make comments about their pictures. If you do, that person will see your comments and can reach you that way, if they're friends with the same people you are.
