So, I have McAfee, I scan it, I GET NO VIRUSES. I use Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware. i get over 170 VIRUSES, so i delete all of them.. after that, I STILL GET VIRUSES, it's like when i enter something on google and click the link, i get another page popup, which isn't the site i need. so i need to MANUALLY TYPE IN THE ADDRESS, and it gets rather annoying, so anybody know how to get rid of it? I have McAfee and some programs doesn't let me use the program because I already have a virus scanning program, but it sucks! So anybody know how to delete it? i've tried looking for it, but it's not working.

Restart your computer in Safe Mode WITH Networking. To do this restart your computer and immediately start tapping the F8 key. This function is somewhat system specific so yours maybe F2, F10, or F12, something like that. Now choose to start in safe mode with networking. Now you need to download and install Malwarebytes Anti Malware. Run a complete scan.

Next download and install SuperAntiSpyware and scan your system. I should mention that if the virus is blocking installation of Malwarebytes or SuperAntiSpyware you need to change the .exe file name to something else. (just right click the .exe file you just downloaded and select rename. Also make sure NOT to include .exe when renaming.

Once your computer is cleaned and free from any malware/spyware I recommend downloading and installing any of the below FREE Anti Virus solutions.

Frankly McAfee is a waste of money

You have gotten a rather serious infection. Its going to take a lot of work to clean this up.

Malware bytes is removing the secondary infections, but you have a trojan hiding on your system that is redirecting your internet browser and blocking some programs. There are numerous varieties of such viruses, so without knowing exactly which one I can't provide you a definite solution.

I would recommend installing Spybot from http://www.safer-networking.org and letting it do a full scan.

Honestly though, an infection of this type is most likely going to require you to be able to boot up off a clean boot disc and manually remove the virus files from your system.

I would strongly suggest you take your computer to a qualified technician and have it cleaned.

And just a note. Crhistophers suggestion of deleting System32 will render your computer inoperable and require you to reinstall windows.

And the answer below is incorrect about Malwarebytes. Malwarebytes is an excellent removal tool, it is not a fake antivirus.

McAfee is not that good and Malwerebyte's is a self serving program. Meaning it installs fake malware and notifies you, just so you think it is working, and then they direct you to some other page where they want money.

There are several good free anti virus and anti spyware programs. But for what you are experiencing you should try Spyware Doctor with AntiVirus. It is not a free program if you go directly to Spyware Doctor, HOWEVER, Google has a FREE version, and it is very good.

Go to Google and click on MORE, Then Click on EVEN MORE. Then go to the right hand column and all the way down at the bottom click on PACKS. IN Packs you will see a list of Programs. UN Tick everything except Spyware Doctor with anti virus. Run that and it should solve your problem.

Most of the viruses that infect your computer download themselves directly into a folder called "System32". The folder is large and rarely used, which is why most users do not ever find them to delete them manually. Use the search bar under your start menu to find this folder (It's hidden under Programs and Files, which is why viruses usually go there) and delete it, and that should make most viruses unable to infect your computer. A few might install in other directories, but for the most part, you should be alright.

Good Luck!

Well, if you have a copy of your Operating System (OS) then you can backup all valuables (pics, vids, docs, etc.) and then Format your Hard Drive which completly wipes everything from you computer.

A good program to do this is KillDisk. I used it and it solved a problem I was facing, and it works great!

start your computer in safe mode and then run malwarebytes. if your not sure how to start it in safe mode i find pulling the power cord out while windows is running and then restarting and selecting safe mode is the easiest way.
