I have the same problem on at least 2 PCs. Others seem to work fine. All running same versions and updates of AVG Only when searching with Bing. I have AVG Business 9.0.872. Link Scanner is 417. I am calling AVG and will post what they have to say

It's probably due to the AVG Search Shield. Try the following to enable/disable the AVG Search-Shield or AVG Active Surf-Shield this way:

Run AVG User Interface.

Double click the LinkScanner component.

Tick/Un-tick the Enable AVG Search-Shield and Enable AVG Active Surf-Shield options.

Confirm changes by clicking on the Save changes button.

If that doesn't help, there may be another solution at the webpage below:

Glad disabling it worked. No idea when the problem will be fixed but you may want to report it to the Free AVG Forums for them to investigate.

Bing will not give you viruses. It is a search engine provided by Microsoft.
