If you do delete them, use a Data Recovery Software (it works if the sectors weren't zeroed or other)

Accidental removal? I believe Norton Antivirus(either 2005 or 2006) has a protected recycle bin, so that when you accidently delete something, you can always recover it.

Golden Rule Number One --> Always backup your data ( Specifically to disc ie burn it to cd or dvd recordable(s) and also have a copy on your hard drive.

Buy an external hard drive and save all your contents in the external hard drive. (usb hard drives)
