i probably shouldn't work on an application which contains my social security number right? if so, how do i reconnect to my secure wireless network? i used to be able to in the past, but now we can only connect 2 of the 4 laptops in the apartment to it for some reason. thanks

Never work on anything that could jeopardize your identity and I would say social security number is pretty high on the list. Unsecure wireless network could be host by someone who intends to "listen" all incoming request and strip to the information he/she needs.

Check your wireless network setting and you will see a list of stored perference network. Remove the unsecure ones and rearrange the order so it will always have a higher priority on connecting to your own secure network.

An unsecured wireless network is basically like throwing your credit card into a pool of people and giving them your address phone number etc. Secure it!
