I created my first digital mail tackle approximately 11-13 years in the past with MSN, (now noted as stay i've got confidence) while i replaced into in center college I as much as date it to gmail, then I swap to a .edu digital mail as quickly as I went to college, on condition that i've got graduated i've got created a sparkling extra expert digital mail tackle on gmail...

Most of the firewalls available today have the option of spam blocking, but it usually comes as an add on which you'll have to pay for each year. Your router might also have the same capability.

If you are using unix/linux as the mail server use SpamAssassin. I have configured this a number of times for large sites and it works pretty well. It will not catch 100%, but it will help. There are a bunch of addons that you can configure with it.



From there, Grey Listing got rid of another 90% off the mail that SpamAssassin missed. It is very simple to setup.



You should also install ClamAv for anti virus protection.



Both can be installed with yum or you can simply download the rpm(s) and install them.
