I have ubuntu 10.10 installed in my computer and I forgot the admin password after a couple changes, however I had previously opened a user account for my sister, so she doesn't mess around with my stuff. Is there any way to recover or change the admin password from the user account?

1)Launch Change Password Window by clicking on “System -> Preferences -> About Me”, which will display the following window. Click on ‘Change Password’ button in this window.

2)Enter Current Password: In the change password window, enter your current password and click on ‘Authenticate’.

3)Enter New Password: Once you enter the current password, the new password text field will be enabled. Enter your new password and click on ‘Change Password’.
