my proxy at school just quit working and got blocked): i really need to check my e-mail on myspace.com does anyone know how to unblock it??? it is greatly appriciated(:

That is illegal. That is why proxies get blocked.

How would anyone know what proxy's your school has blocked? Don't you realize that the schools filtering software can recognize a proxy site as you first access it and turn it off almost immediately. The more proxies you try the bigger their data base of known proxies becomes. Since the software can shut it down almost instantly you end up spending hours looking for new proxies and get shut down in minutes. All the while the school system admin laughs his way through the day at the genius kids who think they know everything.

You could also download a program called anchor free

If you can install it in school(you might need an admin password) it acts as a proxy



You could also delete the proxy server

go to run

type in regedit

ctrl+f

type in proxyserver (all one word)

when found (it should be in HKEY Current User)

delete it

you will have unrestricted access to the internet
