Hello !

I want to use cloud backup services to store my backup files and want to use it in future. I can't find a reliable one which can store my Important files securely . No matter if it's free or paid. Because I know how important it is to protect your important files. Once your hard-disk had been crashed you would come to realize that if you were to keep them safely anywhere.

Hi Mr.Jack!

There are many options. But you need to choose one very carefully because you don't know which one has encryption security better than others. Not all of them care much about security. I can suggest you skydrive, idrive etc.

I think Mega is the Best for storing your Important data on cloud. The advantage is that none will have access to your personal file. They have free and paid option. You can choose either of them.

For reasonable security and privacy, data should be encrypted** before sending, independent of any site involvement with that phase.

Use a solid 'on-board' utility for this, and practice a couple of times with some nondescript file to master the entire process so you know for certain you can get your files back.

That would be: file encrypt> upload>download> decrypt & verify.

Once proficient, go ahead with the more delicate file work.

**Ideally, a Linux OS, in an "air gapped" isolated setting, for the ultra-paranoid. (See; http://www.theguardian.com/world/2013/sep/05/nsa-how-to-remain-secure-surveillance and http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/12/05/airgap_chatting_malware/

"Duplicati" is a free backup client that securely stores encrypted, incremental, compressed backups bound for cloud storage service.

Works with most services.

AES-256 encryption.

A built-in scheduler with various options like filters, deletion rules, transfer and bandwidth options to run backups for specific purposes.

Malwarebytes Secure Backup

Malwarebytes Secure Backup automatically backs up your important documents, music, photos, and videos to our state-of-the-art online data center. And these files are transmitted using military-grade encryption for complete safety.

But before Malwarebytes Secure Backup uploads a file, it scans the file for malware using Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. So now you can confidently save files that you know are clean. And you can share these clean files with friends by simply sending URL links to the files stored at our data centers.

I have been using dropbox for a year or more. I love it. I tried SkyDrive and Carbonite bnut just slowed my PC down and DB is so user friendly. I keep all of my clients files on DB and can access is with my phone, tablet, laptop and PC no matter where I am. I pay for extra storage at 9.99 a month.

i have tried all big giants but i'm really satisfied with "copy.com". From what i have seen so far, it's the best service out there (unlimited referral storage, no upload size limit, owned by Barracuda, better than box and onedrive) . You start out with 20gb of free storage if you sign up from a referral link, and each peron you refer gets you 5gb more. you should definitely give it a shot. Here's my referral link if you'd like to check it out: https://copy.com?r=2feokt
