I open my laptop to it being scanned by some program called Internet security and it has over 80 viruses on it. Some of the malware names are "Child-Porn.proxy" and I'm confused because I've NEVER looked at stuff like that. There also malware names like w32 blaster worm and Trojan downloader and Email-Work. There is a pop up saying that there is a leak of my files through th Internet. If I ware for this to be done scanning, can I click the "Remove all" button and it will remove all the malware files? It's been scanning for half an hour and its only half way done. I can't run it in safe mode, but I turned off my Internet because it wouldn't let me open the Internet anyways ( I'm on a mobile right now) What do I do should I wait until its done scanning?

First thing is:

If you didn't initiate this scan then it need to be stopped! try through task manager to "end task" >press

ctlr/Alt/delete keys>task manager>under process>select "Internet security">right click >end

*I advice powering down and rebooting it to safe-mode (pressF8 before OS loads) and running your AV scan then updating AV.

Don't worry about these pop-ups and such it's all part of the malware.

Good luck

If you have not physically downloaded the program that is currently scanning your computer. do not click remove all because the scanner is the actual virus and by clicking remove all it will infect your laptop. you will need to somehow get into safe mode and download and run this program http://www.malwarebytes.org/ it's free and safe. but first try this = hold Ctrl and press F4 to close the Internet security virus scanner. if this does not work press ctrl Alt and the delete this will bring up options to enter Task Manager. Once task manager is open click end task on Internet security.

PS if your laptop can not be fixed and you need to wipe it, let me know first as i know of a program where you can save all of your personal files without loosing them ;)

Get into safe mode, tap F8 on start up, select with networking, so you can download and install Malware Bytes, let it update definitions and full scan. This is a selective start up and infections are dormant at this stage and easier to remove. You can also try a System Restore if you know the date it happened and restore your Laptop to a date prior. Worse case if you can't get into safe mode is to format the drive from the recovery partition. Don't believe anything your pop ups say as you just digging a bigger hole. Try safe mode from a turned off mode, not a restart, and as soon as you hit the power button start tapping F8? Using the recovery partition will format the drive back to day 1 out of the box, and personal data is lost? Good Luck

Yea its an terrible false antivirus. I got it the day gone by and it took me about four hours to cast off it consider it or no longer. Even if you go on your undertaking manager and finish the procedure it's going to still in some way pop again in your computer but the factor is it takes about 10 seconds to pop back up. So press ctrl+alt+delete and right click on on home windows police pro and click on on "go to procedure". Then end the highlighted process. Now u have about 10 seconds to do that. Go to start>All packages>add-ons>approach tools> and method restoration. About now the false antivirus will pop up out of nowhere and it'll quite often provide you with an error simply shut the false warning error. Approach restore should pop up any 2nd. Now opt for a date and fix it again to what ever date you need besides the date that you just received the malware.

Restart the computer in safe mode by pressing F8 and select safe mode with network.

download the following programs: rkill (you will find multiple extensions), malwarebytes anti-malware. after they have finished downloading. Run Rkill, and then run malwarebytes.

if all comes to worse, just do a factory reset.

well i would do a system restore either to a few days/weeks ago or factory settings depending when that took place

for windows 7

start>control panel>recovery> open system restore

(you can select a date to restore your computer to removing any downloads or saved files you had)

not sure of others you would prob need a restore disc that comes with most computer

and yeah sounds like some fake program that is the actual problem

wait till it's done scanning and have it remove the viruses. and then download another anti-virus software (i recommend Avast! anti-virus) and scan on that to make sure they are all gone.

Internet security is a scam program. It is going to lock down your puter if your not careful.

The links below are for removal of Internet Security 2013 for XP, Vista, and win 7.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-xp-internet-security-2013

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-vista-internet-security-2013

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-win-7-internet-security-2013

If all else fails you will need to try to recover your data and files. Go to the link below and read on how to download a Linux Live CD to boot the system to recover what you want. If you have a Windows 8 puter then you need to turn of secure boot before using the CD. The live CD will also allow you to check out the rest of the puter. It helps to have a thumb drive or a external drive to copy your data and files to.

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/use-ubuntu-live-cd-to-backup-files-from-your-dead-windows-computer/

After you get your data backed up and you have a brand name puter and a recovery partition then you can use the link below to get to the BIOS menu to restore it back to factory settings. When you press the power button start tapping the F key that is for your puter and the BIOS menu will open. Select the recovery and it will set your puter back to factory settings. Depending on your puter this will take one to two hours.

Manufacturers BIOS menu F key

HP/Compaq ESC

Sony F2

ASUS Del

Gateway, eMachines F10

Acer, Dell, Fijitsu, Gigabyte, Toshiba F12

Your BIOS menu should look something like this. Yours might be different. I am posting this to give you an idea of what it looks like.

F1 = System Info

F2 = System Diagnostic

F9 = Boot Device options

F10 = BIOS Setup

F11 = System recovery
