Everytime I close a tab on my internet window a box pops up and states that the computer needs to debug. Once I hit debug the internet explorer shuts down. I have run Norton and it seems that the computer does not have a virus. Does anyone know how to fix this problem? The computer is a Dell.

most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

download firef ox for free, Just have a try:

you can also try Kaspersky Internet Security:

It's a virus/script. Meaning that the script sends a command to open Internet Explorer non-stop. Might wanna re-format your PC.

You don't say what version. The latest version is IE7 If you don't have the latest version installed to to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/Search.aspx?displaylang=en

Install the latest version, plus SP 2. You also need to install Netframe Work 2 to make IE7 perform with out problems.

Then you should to to your tray, start, and windows updates open and scan your pc for the latest updates if you don't have your system set for auto. updates.

If all of the above is already in your system, suggest that you remove IE7 and reinstall, as it may be corrupt.
