Right. Turn off system restore. Delete all cookies, temp pages etc. Free up space on HDD to clear temp pages. Run another scan for spyware. Get rid of any on there. Now re start PC. Turn system restore back on and create restore point. Now go to internet options, make sure your home page is set to the right one. Then try it. And get Adaware..

Try some of these. This is a list I have compiled of what I feel are the best free-anti-spyware/anti-malware downloads. When I use them together on my system it does an excellent job in keeping it clean.

if you're infected with spyware download AVG's anti spyware from here http://free.grisoft.com/doc/download-free-anti-spyware/us/frt/0 as it's free it doesn't have real time protection you'll have to do a manual scan another good free one is spybot search and destroy from here http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html

if you have any problem with stubborn spyware run the removal tool in safe mode (press F8 when booting and choose safe mode from the menu)

Rebooting mean restarting your computer

Re-boot your system in Safe Mode: This can be achieved by continually pressing F8 during the boot sequence. You should now see an option to boot your system at the last known good configuration.

Please download and install AVG antispyware tool (http://free.grisoft.com/doc/20/lng/us/tpl/v5)

* Close all other Applications Select language click Ok

* Click I Agree

* Click next

* Click Install

* Click Finish

* Wait and AVG antispyware will open to the main screen automatically.

* Wait again a few minutes and AVG antispyware Should Auto update itself. If it doesn't, click update at top of screen.

* It is very important that you get updated

* When updating has finished. Close AVG antispyware.

If you have an "always on" connection to the internet, physically disconnect that connection until you are finished with Safe Mode and have rebooted back into normal mode.

* Next, please reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following:

* Restart your computer

* During startup, but before the Windows icon appears, press F8.

* Instead of Windows loading as normal, a menu should appear use arrow up to highlight

* Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode hit enter.

* For additional help in booting into Safe Mode, see the following site: HERE (http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml)

You MUST manage to get into Safe Mode for the fix to work.

* On right side under Reports: click on Do not automatically generate report after every scan.

* Under What to scan select scan every file.

* Click On scan Tab.

* Click on Complete system scan.

* Let the program scan the machine It can take awhile give it time.

* When scan has finished at bottom of screen click Apply all Actions.

* Click Save report

* Click Save Report as (Save as window's screen should pop up.)

If this does not work, please say so in your question or e-mail me and I will suggest a reliable alternative course of action.

If it does work, e-mail me or say so in your question and I will suggest good software to download that helps to keep your computer clean.

Your anti-spyware program is a fake. Remove it completely using Revo uninstaller:

http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Then download and install Ad-Aware:

http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2007/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5&cdlpid=10045910

Reboot, update the Ad-aware definitions file and do a Full scan.
