I got this email from "paypal"
Dear PayPal customer, We recently noticed more attempts to log in to your PayPal account from a foreign IP address. If you accessed your account while traveling, the unusual log in attempts may have been initiated by you. However, if you are the rightfull holder of the account, please visit PayPal as soon as possible to verify your identity. https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_login-run If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choice but to temporary suspend your account. We ask that you allow at least 72 hours for the case to be investigated and we strongly recommend to verify your account in that time. Thank You for using PayPal.

I'm glad that you changed your password immediately--that was a great step. With a quick password change, there's likely to be no damage done. To make your account a little more secure, make sure that your password has at least one capital letter and number, along with lowercase letters.

Be careful with those spam emails! PayPal (or any other website, for that matter) will never ask you for your password. They won't need it. [:

Keep a close eye on your account activity as well--but I think you're a-okay.

I don't like paypal. I feel it is dangerous because i don't see them and i don't know what the heck they do afterwards to my account. Paypal is a company that some businesses set up an account where these businesses have their customers to set up account with them so that they will pay online. Ask your merchandiser how to pay on line - they will lead you to this website. Good luck.

If you went to a link and logged in, then immediately went to http://www.paypal.com . Then manually typed the address or used a favorite link that took u to the site, then changed your password, u should be ok.

If u want to make sure, then go to paypal.com log in, and change it a second time. That would make me feel better.

Just type the address into the address bar at the top of the browser manually. "http://www.paypal.com"

If you have changed your password in a legitimate PayPal page, there's no need to worry :)

Paypal will always address you by your name. What you have is a phishing attempt. Send a copy to paypal.
