I'm facing an annoying problem , showing hidden files !!!?

any time I fix to see all files , " checking the box near SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS " , it automatically changes to " DO NOT SHOW HIDDEN FILES AND FOLDERS " . is it a virus ? if it is , how can I fix this problem ?

yes it is a virus..! your computer has been infected with some virus thru data travellers i think! download a updated antivirus software, i suggest you avg 8.5, and scan your computer..

next let me explain you how to get rid of your problem of hidden files..





The show hidden files and folders was not working at all right?. If you selected the button “Show hidden files and folders”, and then press Ok .. the changes would just disappear upon opening the dialog again.



So here is what I suggest to do to restore it back.



Go to registry editor by running regedit in the run box.

Go to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\

Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced



In the right hand area, double click hidden and change the value to 1.

I was having the same problem one week ago..But in my computer the was a virus, but my antivirus program was unable to find the virus..i use AVAST antivirus..Also in my backgrund programs automaticlu was starting some IEXPLOREL.exe rogoram and was slowing down the computer to maximum..



I simply solv the problem....Fomated my computer... :) - IT WORKS :)))
