How do I get rid of popups with the same CID heading even if they are for different service or products?

I started getting these CID popups when I upgraded my Windows Internet Explorer. One example is:
"CID Love calculator". They come up even when I am off the internet.

I had the same problem.

Go to Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel from the Start Menu. Open it and a list will appear. Remove and uninstall all unwanted programs espically CID and all other unwanted programs you don't know of.

It looks as though you are the victim of adware/spyware.

Pop-ups even when you're not running a browser are signs of an infection.

Visit http://pack.google.com to get the Google Pack, which includes Spyware Doctor and Norton Security Scan. Both of these are very well-known for their performance. And I can guarantee you, as soon as you run Spyware Doctor, you'll find at least a dozen infections. (None of which, of course, will be major, except for the actual bad adware that's making these pop-ups.)_

Your computer most likely has a Lop malware infection.

A pop-up blocker WILL NOT stop Lop (CiD) pop-ups.

Lop / CiD removal information is here:

Good luck

1. Download and run firefox to protect your from future spyware attacks and pop ups which are coming in through internet explorer (Trojan downloaders, win32 ) .Then update your windows through firefox

Browser attacks aren't easy to spot because they piggyback on legitimate traffic that doesn't exhibit many obvious warning signs
