I got a computer from my moms job because they didn't need it anymore, and when I first received it I changed the admin password not thinking about what would happen, anyway I forgot it, and I'm guessing since it was a company computer the user doesn't have admin privileges. So basically I need help on how I can get the password back that I made up, or any simple hacks I can do to recover or change it. PLEASE, PLEEEASE HELP ME?? I cant download or install anything I need at all, until I get that password.

you need a separate computer to do this.

1. goto http://www.piotrbania.com/all/kon-boot/

2. download the CD-ISO for kon-boot windows & linux (its near the bottom and will take you to another site)

3. right click and extract the .ZIP file( the password is kon-boot), you should have 2 more ZIP files, extract the ZIP file that starts with CD

4. Burn the .ISO file using this http://fileforum.betanews.com/download/ImgBurn/1128426215/1

5. Put the disk into the computer you want to hack...

6. (you might not have to do this) change your bios boot order of that computer to cd-rom by doing this http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/ss/bootorderchange.htm

6. boot up the cd and log-in with no password.

If you did not see it whilst you used Ophcrack for Vista then you definately in no way enabled the Admin account for Vista. Unlike XP, Vista does not allow an Admin account by means of default, it needs to be performed manually. You might wish to allow the Admin account from a further account with admin privileges if you'll be able to. If you'll be able to get into a further account you do that to allow the hidden admin account: a million. First you’ll must open a command immediate in administrator mode by means of correct-clicking and determining “Run as administrator” (or use the Ctrl+Shift+Enter shortcut from the seek field). two. Now kind the next command: web person administrator /lively:sure three. You must see a message that the command accomplished effectually. Log out, and also you’ll now see the Administrator account as a alternative. Be mindful there’s no password for this account, so for those who wish to go away it enabled you must create a password.

Nothing you can do. If you need to access your files, there are ways to do it. But there is no way to unlock it. Best bet is to just reinstall the Operating system if you can find a disk. Hopefully there is a product key on the outside of the PC somewhere.
