Russian malware in my computer - Please help?

Question

Please provide me with advise on how to get rid of this Russian-looking malware in my PC:

Every time I open my IE, I get a large banner at the bottom of my screen. The banner has three vertical rows with links in Russian. The banner changes colors fast between red and yellow. I also get some Russian characters in red below the large banner

How I can remove it? I have tried my AVG antivirus, SpyBot and MalwareByte's AntiMalware...Anything else I should try????

If it's Virus Malwarebytes and Spybot are not going to work. Disable system restore then go into safe mode and run a scan with AVG even Malwarebytes or Superantispyware in case it's not a Virus. if it find something then be sure to enable system restore when you go back to normal mode.



Stop using IE it's not secure use Firefox.

Anyone find an answer to this? I have the same problem except it's on the bottom of my IE page.



I've run Malwarebytes, Spybot S&D, and MRT ...nothing works :(

I would look in the Add-Remove Programs section (in Vista, it is just Programs), in teh Control Panel. Sometimes people inadvertently install malware programs, that the anti-malware programs have a problem taking out. Even if you can't delete it from there, if you could get the name of any suspicious-looking program, at least you could Google it. They make special removal utilities for these types of programs.

in the windows system 32 folder you will find the MRT file.

it is the microsoft malicious software removal tool ,

give it a try,

just double click on it to start it up.
