I just plugged in my friends ipod into my computer and while sync-ing it to my itunes i had a pop up saying that it had BUG FIXES. Is that good or bad? Cause i did some research and it appears good, i'm not sure!

yes, its a good thing. That message just means that Apple would like to fix some problems with your friend's ipod. Viruses rarely, if ever, appear on itunes.

McAfee SiteAdvisor categorised many web pages incorrect. incorrect information superhighway protection scores from McAfee SiteAdvisor are a warm subject rely interior the internet. I wont use it. all and sundry can submit contaminated get carry of links to an internet site whether the downloads do no longer exist on the information superhighway web site area. a good protection is Microsoft LiveOnCare. it could unpack and test even the documents the place maximum AV's prepare a faux effective as they're no longer able to test packed documents finished with some exe, dll report protectors. Many Anti virus utility prepare a incorrect Virus alert as quickly it discovered a report which it could no longer test. try it by using self. %. with exe protectors like Armadillo, themidia, aspack and freeware as quickly as like PE Compact, XComp098, XComp097, mpress some documents. After compressing/packing exchange purely one or 2 bytes interior the report header then test them. you will ask your self touching directly to the outcomes. I propose to get carry of from Avira, Kaspersky or others a clean bootable CD ISO loose test CD and burn it. Boot with the AV test CD and eliminate Virus with out booting from contaminated hard disk drive. decision a on line test with Ms liveOnCare can eliminate many Viruses and sparkling the pc after reboot. Disable/empty the equipment restoration till now.

If it's genuine, Apple-approved or whatever makes it so for an ipod, let it do its thing, it's not a virus.
