How do I get my password in AOL?

OK, here's what happened. I forgot both my MY Space and my AOL password. So, I typed the response prompt for forgot my password to My Space, and then I went to the AOL account linked up to my My Space account, then I went to AOL and I forgot that account, and all that keeps happening is this loop that says AOL will email a link to me for my password, but DUH I can't get into my email..... actually, I am writing this for my teenage room mate that I am trying to help. we have been trying this for an hour.

"AOL Members: If you have a broadband connection to the AOL service including DSL, cable, or satellite, you need to call Member Services to reset your password.

To reset your password if you connect to the AOL service with a dial-up modem



1.) Start the AOL software and on the Sign On screen choose the screen name for which you have forgotten your password from the Select Screen List.

2.) Click Forgot Password.

3.) Click Yes, confirm that you have the information listed on the Verifying Your Account window, and then click Continue.

4.) Type information requested to verify you are an authorized account user, and then click OK

5.) Type your new password twice in the spaces provided, and then click OK."
