She has recently started getting a message stating "Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely?
This webpage contains content that will not be delivered using a secure HTTPS connection, which could compromise the security of the entire webpage." Her AV is Webroot, and I do not know if this message is being generated by Webroot or IE-8, but she wants to stop it popping up everywhere she goes. Need some help, here.

This is due to a configurable security setting within Internet Explorer.

- Step 1 -

In Internet Explorer, press ALT, then click Tools and Internet Options.  Click Security, Trusted Sites, and Custom Level.  Under Miscellaneous, for Mixed Content, select Enable, then click OK and Yes.  Click OK.

- Step 2 -

When the prompt occurs on a site that you know can be trusted (MSN, Microsoft, Yahoo, etc.), copy the portion of the Web address from https:// to before the first / character, for example, "https://ca.answers.yahoo.com".

Press ALT, then click Tools and Internet Options. Click Security, Trusted Sites, and Sites.  Under "Add this website...", paste the Web address, then click Add, Close, and OK.

You should never again see the security prompt for that site.

It's happening because of OUTDATED Software

XP=NO Longer supported

IE-8=NO Longer supported and banned in some countries

As time goes on, these messages will just increase because of IE-8 not being able to UPdate (HINT) STOP using ie-8 and install another browser
