Aliases: Packed.Win32.PePatch.ca (Kaspersky), Generic.dx (McAfee), Downloader (Symantec), TR/PCK.PePatch.CA.2 (Avira), Mal/EncPk-BW (Sophos)

It attempts to drop a DLL component in the Windows system folder. It is also designed to download and execute files from a remote server. As a result, the routines of the downloaded files may be exhibited on the affected system.

Scan online and free removal:

Housecall:

http://housecall.trendmicro.com

Also scan online for free with ESET (requires Internet Explorer)

http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/index.php

Accept Terms of Use, Install ActiveX, click Start and tick both boxes, Remove found threats and Scan unwanted applications.

This can take a while to run, so just leave it to scan and remove infections.

sens.dll is a library that contains functions used for System Event Notification Service (SENS). I wouldn't dare delete it, you don't know what you downloaded, and the file differs with computers, so DON'T delete it. To fix the problem try this:

Go Start > Run > type cmd or go Start > all programs > accecories > command prompt

type chkdsk and let it do its thing. If it can fix it, it will say at the bottom (one or more errors were located) In that case type chkdsk /f and restart the computer :)

Try a online virus scan here are some address to try Safety.Live.com...Housecall.TrendMicro.com...get some protection Comodo.com is offering a complete security suite free and yes they can be trusted if you want to do it yourself I recommend Avira.com along with Safer-Networking.org(spybot search&destory) or SpywareBlaster from majorgeeks.com or Lavasoft.com...MalwareBytes.org is another good one to consider although the last two don't offer free protection some even recommend two anti-spyware scanners just to be on the safe side the other bit of advice i have to offer is external firewalls they hardwire to the machine with usb or firewire hook up now thats cutting edge tech.Remember paid is usually better than free however since Comodo.com kind offer that may not be the case anymore

It is a trojan. It usually infects the system and brings up "unwanted websites" (porn and other type materials)

Check out this fix from Symantec (name is different, but see the resource below to see how they are the same virus)
