Question:
Google redirect virus :(?

Please help! Every time I do a google search, when I click on the result it jumps or redirects to another page. It used to just do it to ebay or other shopping websites, which was a pain, but now it comes up with disgusting websites. Porn, blood, violence, the lot. And it's quite distressing, and I now can't let my younger sister use my laptop incase it happens to her.

I know lots of other people have asked this but I've tried running Malwarebytes and SuperAntiSpyware in safe mode, reset all my cookie and privacy settings to the highest possible, and it won't go away. Is there any simple way to get rid of this? I don't care if I have to uninstall then reinstall internet explorer or whatever.

Hi,

This sounds like some kind of malicious adware. Most antivirus programs should be able to clean this off, especially in safe mode.

It's worth trying the Malwarebytes scan again, but make sure that you download the latest updates before you start the scan - all in safe mode with networking.

The other thing you could try (if all else fails) is to remove the hard disk and connect it to another computer with a good antivirus program. You can get a USB adapter to connect it from any good computer store, but you have to know what you're doing before removing/ reinstalling the disk in your computer. Ask someone who has done it before to help if you'r enot confident doing this. Also, before you connect your disk to the other computer make sure the antivirus is up to date and do a full system scan of the clean computer first. Then you can connect your disk, wait for it to register with a drive letter in 'My Computer' and do an antivirus scan of only that drive.

click on the hyperlink decrease than for a unfastened Emsisoft Anti-Malware application. That eradicated the Google redirect virus in my pc. My Mozilla Seamonkey replace gave me the virus interior the 1st place, and it stored updating an reinfecting me till I close it down. Mozilla insists that the extremely some anti-virus companies that detect a redirect virus of their courses are fake positives, yet all of them persist.

Well

Cleaning the register is a good way of improving the performances of your pc and eliminate malwares and trojans. A program I trust is CCleaner http://bit.ly/UrAu83

It's amazing.

Well since Malware Bytes didn't get rid of the virus in safe mode, your best bet will be to just reformat your computer.
