I had the same problem & my computer repair guy said it was a problem with one of the drivers. He had to reformat & I lost everything. If you have programs that you bought online or at store try to put them on cd with your key licence or you will lose them

Restore your system to the checkpoint before this happened. It's easy, On Windows 7, I just had to do it to get rid of the rogue program 'Antimalware Doctor'. Go to Start > ALL Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore click next and select the restore point prior to the time the infection occurred. Mine took only 5-7 minutes to run. If you don't have Windows 7, you still can get to the System Restore by finding the location of your Accessories, normally System Restore is under this.

Restart and tap F8 untill you get the Boot Options screen. Choose Safe Mode and use System Restore to backup to a point in time before the problem started.

You have an insect now.... Should be fixed.

Solution1: If you are connected via router, please try connecting via cable and try to update it. Try in safe mode also, If this doesnt work try the below

Solution2: Get a good antivurs or install some free antivirus scanner.

Note: Always have any one scanner, having multiple scanner will make your PC slowdown.

You have a virus that your AV programs allowed to infect your computer. These latest viruses are very smart and can defeat many of the free AV programs. I suggest that you check out this review and buy one of the better antivirus programs:
