I don't like how my hostname states the city and state of my location....Is there a way to change that?

Hostname is automatically added to your IP address from your ISP. Changing is so far i know not possible without changing IP address.
Actually it does not matter of your change hostname because your IP address is tracked and associated with IP database such as database from IP trackers below:

http://www.find-ip-address.org
