The best free one is Grisoft's AVG because it has frequent updates and you can just install it and forget that it's even on. It does it's job well. You can get it at http://free.grisoft.com/

i like bit defender anti.i had so much in my PC that norton,AVG,Mcafee, and many lower quality free bees did not find,+ plus its got a kick butt spyware scanner,,its a full version for 30 days and can generally find a working keycode for it to keep
