Question:
Why is Norton not isolating and removing ad.yieldmanager.com? It's blocking me from opening email!?

When I click on an email, I get a page IE cannot display the page and if I click on diagnose connection problems, reply is no problems with network connection. Clicking back button kicks me off internet. If I ignore message and just use back button, I repeat opening an email, reading part (if I'm lucky) and the sequence repeats. Interjected in the middle of this is a pop up on ad.yieldmanager.com!! Tried using Yahoo antivirus program and ran Norton scan (again).

ad.yieldmanager.com is a legitimate advertising server that 1000s of websites use to deliever adverts to users.

It seems that today, ad.yieldmanager.com has put out a very badly coded advertising campaign that depending upon your browser settings is causing some people serious problems.

Norton is not detecting anything because ad.yieldmanager is NOT a virus, just a poorly coded I-Frame.

That is one i have noticed and written down, also there are others.it may be an advertiser, but my proxy refused the connection.possible info sharing.all i know is this mess made me waste 4 hours.

You now should get every privacy add on you can.I added a few. This redirecting of pages and scripts stopping is beyond madness.every week,a problem, not a glitch, this is serious.get the Mozilla browser.

get Adban,,also try the new mozilla beta 4.0.I have a 1998 PC ,now its good.

Google has the same privacy issues.

that's because norton is one of the worst out for 1. Secondly, ad.yieldmanager isnt a virus...it's spyware or malware. Not the same. You need to get a spyware program like malwarebytes or super anti spyware.

Good luck
